Lis brought students to a butterfly farm, and she bought me a wild mint plant from there, knowing I love growing herbs and enjoy (a little) gardening. 
Lis says she was told that this mint is great for dry coughs. Just crush some leaves in boiling water and sweeten to taste.
This mint now joins the common mint, sweet basil and rosemary that I now have. I love and appreciate these little things that she does :)
We both don’t subscribe to the Valentine’s-Day-is-that-extra-special-one-day-a-year propaganda. After all, if you’re dating a princess, then she should be treated like a princess every day, not just once a year. And I married my princess, and I appreciate and enjoy every day that I’m with her. 
But of course, just because we don’t fall for the marketing hype doesn’t mean we can’t do little things for each other. Lis surprised me with her gift, something that, she says, is what I want but never got to buy, a bottle of white truffle oil!
We bought fries from McDonald’s and drizzled the oil over them, and ended up with delicious truffle fries! Looking forward to use the oil with other things! 
Lis and I are having our dental checkup. Lis went first, and right now I’m feeling all jittery listening to the whirring sounds coming from the dentist’s room. *wince*
Thank goodness for the classical music. I think it helps a little. I don’t like dentist visits…
Not Lis, but Jojo… Jojo was so excited to see us yesterday and was darting around.
She was crawling under the sofa when she suddenly gave a yelp. And when she tried to jump up onto the sofa, she couldn’t. Thankfully she wasn’t limping, so it wasn’t a fracture or sprain. We suspected she pulled her muscle. Lis gave Jojo a little massage to hopefully soothe the pain.
Today we dropped by again, and to our relief, Jojo was back to her happy self again, jumping up and down the sofa, hopping around and begging for food.
